The winners of the 2009 SPS Undergraduate Research Award are:
- Farhan bin Ali for his Honours thesis at the National University of Singapore titled, " Brain Size and Cognition in Primates: Investigation the Molecular and Evolutionary Basis”.
- Jane De Matteis for her Honours thesis at the James Cook University (Singapore) titled, "A cross-cultural comparison of the relationship between Asian values and the reporting of child sexual abuse”.
