SESSIONAL LECTURERS/TUTORS – PSYCHOLOGY (Part-time)

We are currently seeking an experienced and qualified academic who will be responsible for teaching into our undergraduate Psychology courses.  We invite applications from candidates with a background in all areas of Psychology. Experience in tertiary teaching is highly desirable.

Duties

  • Contribute to our undergraduate psychology programs through undergraduate teaching;
  • Assist with the administration of the course including assessment and moderation, and provide written evaluative and formative feedback on student work in a timely manner;
  • Provide student consultation on coursework matters;
  • Communicate effectively with students and other academic staff.

Key Selection Criteria

  • Minimum Masters-level qualification in Psychology or related discipline;
  • Evidence of quality teaching and assessment across a range of subjects at the undergraduate level;
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective relations with colleagues in an academic environment and with people from diverse backgrounds;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
