[Clinical Psychology SIG]: Working Effectively with Local Culture(s)
The SPS Clinical Psychology SIG will be convening to discuss the nuances of working effectively and sensitively with local culture(s). We are fortunate to have colleagues who have worked in a variety of local and international settings.
This session will start with a case discussion by our esteemed and experienced colleague, Emmanuelle O’Grady. We will then have an open forum for members to share, or ask about, the nuances of working effectively with Singaporeans and how they might differ from clients of other cultures. Members can discuss their challenges as well as solutions.
This particular session will be limited to 20 places to facilitate an in-depth discussion of the topic. Members are encouraged to bring specific queries or examples for the forum segment of this meet-up.
We look forward to meeting you.
