Synopsis

In this session, I/O Psychologists will share on their entrepreneurship journey and how they translated I/O Psych research and findings into a business venture. Are you a looking to pursue your own business venture around psychology? This session will offer you much insight.

Benjamin Aw
Founder & Chief Innovation and Gamification Strategist,  EnHyphen Pte Ltd

Benjamin Aw is a Founder and Chief Innovation and Gamification Strategist of EnHyphen Pte Ltd, an organization dedicated to helping organizations #evolvetheirgame in the ever-changing landscape.

With a background in Learning and Development Consultancy, he specializes in human capital and culture development in an organization. He is a firm believer in creating value for clients for impact in their industry as well as ensuring the methods are sustainable. He specializes in fields of facilitative visual thinking, creative psychology and motivational behaviour.

Besides his work, he dabbles as a Recorder, Coach and Facilitator and volunteers in as a member in the International Association of Facilitators (IAF Singapore) and a co-founder and Hon. Secretary of the Career Development Association of Singapore (CDAS).

 

Jasmine Han
Founder and CEO of WodiLabs

Jasmine is a founder and CEO of Wodi Labs (Work Design Labs) where she leads a series of career transformation programs to over 4000 professionals through Online/ Offline class in Singapore and Korea since 2015. Her team has designed and produced the tool kit “WODI BOX” (patented) that helped support the delivery of a series of design thinking workshops for corporate clients, MBA students and government clients.

Before founding Wodi Labs, Jasmine was the Training and Development Manager at ESSEC Business school, IRENE ASIA, the Asian Branch of the institute of Research and Education on Negotiation based in Singapore. Her main focus was developing a number of “Negotiation Coaching” programs for Master students as well as senior management at various corporations and governments across Asia Pacific.

Prior to joining ESSEC, Jasmine worked for Apple in Singapore as a performance trainer/coach in the Learning & Development team, supporting the Sales and Service team across the Asia Pacific. Her greatest achievement at Apple was leading the design and execution of the “Coaching Leadership Course” which was eventually rolled out to all team leaders at Apple on a global basis.

As a I/O and Coaching psychologist over the last 15 years, her focus has been on “Humanising work” in the workplace. She has gained a vast amount of experience in delivering training/coaching through one on one’s, workshops and seminars in Korea, Australia and Singapore. Jasmine has been a guest lecture for Singapore Management University and Seoul National University.

 

Adrian Koh
Head OD and Research, CXS International
Founder, Brick By Brick LLP

Adrian is the current Head of Organisational Development and Research for Conexus. With a background in Organisational Psychology, he has consulted with both private and public companies, on areas of leadership and team development, talent acquisition and development. Some of his past clients include TalentCorp, MDEC, Heineken Asia Pacific, DBS Bank, Coherent Singapore Pte Ltd and Boston Scientific.

Adrian is also an Adjunct Lecturer with Singapore University of Social Sciences, where he teaches on psychology and HR related subjects such as Assessment and Selection; Research Methods; and, Organisational Psychology. He is certified in several psychometric instruments such as 15FQ+, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), vip24. Adrian is also certified LEGO Serious Play Facilitator.

Adrian was awarded the SAF Overseas Training Award where he was trained to be a Military Officer at the Royal Military College, Duntroon, Australia. He obtained his Bachelor of Business (2nd Class Upper) at Monash University, and a Master of Science in Industrial and Organisational Psychology from City University of New York.
