This award is an initiative of the Singapore Psychological Society to support young researchers, facilitate dialogue and maintain professional interactions between members and non-members.

Thank you to all students who took the time and effort to submit your abstracts for SRA 2016! All students should have now been notified if your work has been nominated for consideration of an award. Please use the following guidelines and note the deadlines for submission.
Nominations of awards are in these 3 categories:
Best Individual Undergraduate Research
Best Diploma Research
Grading criteria for award:
- Novelty of research
- Theoretical and practical significance
- Quality of research methods
- Level of statistical analysis
- Structure and style of the paper
Criteria for full paper submission:
Authors of awarded works will be notified by 26 September 2016 and will be required to prepare a full paper (3000 words or less), a poster presentation, and/or an oral presentation for Top Award nominees. By submitting the full paper, you are providing consent for your paper to be published in the Student Research Award Book.
Format Requirement for Full Paper (3000 words or less):
Name of Author(s)
Abstract (not included in word count)
Introduction: practical or scientific problem, theoretical background goals, hypothesis.
Methodology: participants, recruitment, methods
Reference list (not included in word count).
Note: abstract and full paper should be written in APA format.
What to expect on the day?
15 poster presentations from both Diploma and Undergraduate categories.
6 oral presentations for the top 3 in each category
Networking opportunity with reviewers and SPS members and a chance to grow the field of psychological research!

Lunch is provided for all attendees.
