Erica Tang is an academic standout with a passion for psychology and a talent for leadership. She is currently in her Second Year at the National University of Singapore, pursuing a Bachelor of Social Sciences (Honours) in Psychology. Erica has been an active member of the SPS Youth Wing since its establishment in 2021, holding various positions: Honorary General Secretary (2022-2023) and Partnerships and Liaisons Manager (2021-2022). She currently serves as the President of the SPS Youth Wing.
At Temasek Polytechnic, Erica achieved the coveted Director’s List and graduated at the top of her cohort as a Gold Medallist in the Diploma of Psychology Studies. Continuing her academic excellence at NUS, Erica has also earned a place on the Dean’s List.
Passionate about psychology and mental health in Singapore, Erica dedicates her time to volunteering at the Institute of Mental Health. She currently holds the position of Chairperson of NUS Project In My Heart (IMH), leading weekly volunteering sessions at IMH and organising mental health-related seminars for NUS students.
Erica’s primary interests lie in Clinical Psychology and Research. In her free time, Erica enjoys reading journal articles and spending time with her family.
