The Student Research Awards Is Back With A Bang!

The Student Research Awards (SRA) is an initiative of the Singapore Psychological Society to recognise budding researchers and to celebrate outstanding research done in Singapore. Please join us in this initiative!

SRA Event Date: 14 December 2024 (Saturday)

Registration will close on 7 December 2024 (Sunday) 2359hrs

Thank you to all students who took the time and effort to submit your papers for SRA 2024. Participants nominated for an award will be notified by Mid November 2024. Do check your emails often!

Nominations of awards are in the below categories:

1. Fred Long Award for Research Excellence
2. Best Research for Polytechnic Category
3. Best Research for Undergraduate Category
4. Best Research for Postgraduate Category

Grading criteria for the awards:

1. Research Question and Literature Review
2. Methodology
3. Analysis and Discussion
4. Structure and Stylistics

In addition, all SRA event attendees will be able to vote for their favourite presentation on event day. The top voted entry will be awarded the Audience Choice Award!

What to expect on the day?

Notified finalists in each category will each deliver a 10-minute presentation about their research, followed by a short Q&A from the audience.

For SRA attendees: Sit back and enjoy the presentations, support your fellow comrades in research, and choose your favourite entry!

Ticket Price: SGD5 (Members of SPS), SGD7 (Non-members of SPS)

Note:

All award nominees must register and attend the event to be eligible to win an award.

All award attendees and nominees must register with their real names. Your Zoom name used to enter the Zoom video session needs to be the same as the one you registered.

Once we have received and verified your email with the screenshot of the completed payment page, you will receive the zoom invite at least 3 days before the event.
