About Us

SPS’ Coaching Psychology Special Interest Group (SIG) aims to promote the development of coaching psychology as a professional activity, and clarify the benefits of psychological approaches within coaching practice. We are committed to fostering excellence in coaching practice through events, discussions, research, publications, and professional development.

The primary purpose of the Coaching Psychology SIG is to contribute to the continuing professional development of psychologists who are interested in coaching by:

  • Enhancing the professional identity of Coaching Psychologists within the SPS
  • Organising and promoting best practice professional development within the psychology profession for Coaching Psychology
  • Strengthening the evidence-based of Coaching Psychology
