Dr Ng earned her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from King’s College London, Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience, as a recipient of the NCSS Social Services Scholarship. Her clinical focus is on mood, anxiety, and trauma-related disorders. She completed her specialised training at a highly specialised outpatient service in the UK for anxiety disorders and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), which enhanced her expertise in these fields. As a Principal Clinical Psychologist, she works closely with children, youths, and adults experiencing mental health challenges. Beyond her clinical practice, Dr Ng is dedicated to educating, mentoring, and supervising other psychologists and mental health professionals as the Director of Education and Senior Lecturer at the National University of Singapore. She also trains and speaks on mental health issues and has developed numerous workshops for the community and organisations. She is passionate about promoting good mental health practices through preventative efforts within the community. In recognition of her contribution, she received the prestigious COVID-19 Resilience Medal for leading the National Care Hotline during the pandemic. She has been a volunteer with the SPS Register of Psychologists Committee since 2018 and served as the SIG Chair from 2023 to 2025. In her free time, she enjoys travelling the world and tending to her garden!
